The Ormoc airport was not operational before the typhoon.

It has been rehabilitated with the support of the US army.

It can receive up to C130 aircraft

No JET A fuel available

Landing distance reduced to 1,410m (displaced threshold length 456 m). – Runway 36 (Heading 364.0).

Caution runway 36 approach zone is obstructed by trees, ant and electric power line with high tension power lines.
