The Port of Iligan is located along the northern central coastal area of Mindanao facing the Iligan Bay.  It serves the port users and passengers coming from the hinterlands of the provinces of Lanao del Sur, Lanao del Norte, parts of Misamis Oriental, and the cities of Iligan and Marawi. Passenger and cargo shipping lines operating in the Port of Iligan serves the cities of Manila, Cebu City and Ozamiz. Iligan Port is not the first port of entry and it only caters to domestic vessels.
