Port Overview
The Port of Cawit is another alternative entry point for Marinduque, aside from the Port of Balanacan and Buyabod. It is located at Bgry. Cawit, Boac, Marinduque. The reinforced concrete L-shaped pier handles agricultural and marine products, consumer goods and accommodates passengers.
The Port of Cawit was re-opened in 2008, and is situated on the mid-western side of mainland Marinduque serving as a major port for the towns of Boac, Gasan and Buenavista. It handles agricultural and trade products, construction materials and passenger services.
