Public Sector Storage 

Public sector storage facilities are owned by government agencies such as the National Logistics Agency (BULOG), Social Office, etc. 

Sub Division Regional BULOG in Sorong City supervise three warehouses with total capacity of 12,500 tons (for rice), that can be rented depending on space availability. For utilisation or renting purposes, an official request should be made, addressed to the Head of BULOG at Provincial level in Manokwari, the capital of West Papua Province. 

BULOG warehouses are located in three different locations in Sub Divre Sorong: 

1. GBB Klaligi covering Sorong Raya: Sorong city, Sorong district, Maybrat district, Raja Ampat district, Tambaru district and Bone Sorong Selatan district. 
2. GBB Sapor Danco covering Raja Ampat district. 
3. GSP Wernas covering Sorong Selatan district.
