Commercial Storage 

Most of the commercial storages in Manado City are located at Ario Lasut street area. Meanwhile in Bitung City, the commercial storages are located at Wolter Monginsidi street area. These warehouses were generally built by commercial companies for their internal requirements and are rarely available for rent. The available option for renting a warehouse space in Manado and Bitung is through the existing warehouses managed by Government state-owned companies of PT. Pelindo (Persero) as Port Operator, and PT. Bhanda Ghara Reska (Persero) as logistics service provider.

Storage Used by Humanitarian Organizations 

The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) has storage facility in North Sulawesi Province.

Public Sector Storage 

Public sector storage facilities are owned by government agencies such as the National Logistics Agency (BULOG), Social Office, etc. 

Division Regional BULOG in North Sulawesi Province supervises three regional sub divisions, consisting of Bolmong, Tahuna and Gorontalo. In total, BULOG manages 11 (eleven) warehouse complexes with total capacity 46,850 tons of rice (or equivalent), that can be rented depending on space availability. For utilisation or renting purposes, an official request should be made addressed to the Head of BULOG at Provincial level in North Sulawesi Province. 

BULOG warehouses are located in 11 (eleven) different locations throughout North Sulawesi and Gorontalo Provinces: 

1. GBB Paceda I, covering Manado city, Minahasa Tenggara district, Tomohon city, Minahasa district, Minahasa Utara district, Minahasa Selatan district and Bitung city. 
2. GBB Paceda II, covering Manado city, Minahasa Tenggara district, Tomohon city, Minahasa district, Minahasa Utara district, Minahasa Selatan district and Bitung city. 
3. GBB Mogolaing, covering Kotamobagu city, Bolmong Timur district, Bolmong Utara district, Bolmong Selatan district and Bolaang Mongondow district. 
4. GBB Tona, covering Kepulauan Sangihe district. 
5. GSP Beo, covering Kepulauan Talaud district. 
6. GSP Melonguane, covering Kepulauan Talaud district. 
7. GSP Lirung, covering Kepulauan Talaud district. 
8. GSP TataHadeng, covering Kepulauan Sitaro 
9. GBB Talumolo, covering Gorontalo city, Gorontalo district, Gorontalo Utara district and Bone Bolango district. 
10. GSP Bongo, covering Boalemo district. 
11. GSP Marisa, covering Pohuwato district.

Cold Chain 

Cold chain facilities are limited in North Sulawesi Province.  However, BULOG has a cold chain facility that is used for meat.
