There are many empty space and storage options available within Bengkulu City. In the event of an emergency, Fatmawati Soekarno Airport Authority has indicated that the empty land within the airport perimeter can also be made available to support logistics response operations.

Commercial Storage 

Commercial warehouses are mostly located along the main road from Bengkulu City to Pulau Baai Port. These warehouses were generally built by commercial companies for their internal requirements and are rarely available for rent. 

Most of the commercial storage in Bengkulu are rented by private companies on long term leases.

Storage Used by Humanitarian Organizations 

The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) is the only humanitarian organization with storage facilities in Bengkulu Province.

Public Sector Storage 

Public sector storage facilities are owned by government agencies such as the National Logistics Agency (BULOG), Social Office, etc. 

BULOG has many warehouses within Bengkulu Province, which can be rented depending on space availability. For utilisation or renting purposes, an official request should be made, addressed to the Head of BULOG at Provincial level in Bengkulu Province. 

BULOG has 4 warehouse complexes throughout Bengkulu: 

1. GBB Sidomulyo covering Benteng, Seluma and Enggano districts. 
2. GBB Taba Tembilang covering North Bengkulu and Muko Muko districts. 
3. GDT Kota Pandang covering South Bengkulu and Kaur districts 
4. GBB Durian Depun covering Kepahiyang, Lebong and Rejang Lebong districts.

Cold Chain 

Cold chain facilities are limited in Bengkulu Province.  However, the BULOG have a cold chain that is used for meat.
