Seasonal Constraints

The ferry carries out fewer rotations per day / weeks during the rainy season then during the dry season, due to lower traffic.

Daily Capacity

When the ferry is working optimally, on average, 25 persons are crossing the border daily. With up to 30 rotations for the ferry, the ferry can load up to 4 trucks of 5 MT (empty) per rotation. These trucks are frequently loaded with red oil palm from Liberia to Cote d’Ivoire.

Customs Clearance

Plebo customs officials have the capacity to levy taxes on the importation of commercial goods.
