Tukastan - 2.2 Tukastan Aviation

There are 41 airports in Tukastan (as of 2002) of which 6 have a paved runway of over 2,000 m (Claustan and Stichbundi International Airports and Sidharta, Ugrick, Bouloung and Chai-Baging National Airport). The remaining 35 aerodromes have unpaved runways:

• 6 x runway length 914 to 1,523 m
• 29 x runway length under 914 m

Claustan International Airport is a military-civil airport and is the only active international airport in the country. Main national airports are located in the cities of Ugrigk and Sidharta. No information is currently available on the various small airfields inside the country.

One commercial air carrier present in the region: Tukair, mainly passengers service, flying throughout the country. No one of these carriers operator has been evaluated nor accepted to provide services for WFP.  Sources within Tukastan very sparse.
