Port Overview
The Uliga Dock consists of an “L-shaped” dock adjacent to the port fairway and a dock warehouse
The Uliga Dock is used for the moorage of governmental vessels owned and operated by the RMI Marshall Island Marine Resources Authority (MIMRA), the RMI Ministry of Transportation and Communications and the RMI Ports Authority (RMIPA). Each of these agencies also own facilities situated inland of the dock including: The Outer Island Fish Market Center operated by MIMRA; offices and the Marshall Islands Shipping Corporation (MISC) owned by the RMI Ministry of Transportation and Communications; and, the Warehouse Facility owned by RMIPA and currently leased to the MISC and the International Migration Organization

Marshall Islands Port Authority
The Marshall Islands Port Authority (RMIPA) is the controlling agency for all ports in RMI and is based at Delap Dock. The Port Authority is a state owned enterprise and is responsible for the development, maintenance and operations of all sea ports, including Uliga and Delap in Majuro and the sole international airport, the Amata Kabua International Airport (AKIA or MAJ), located on Majuro Atoll. RMIPA reports to the Minister of Transportation and Communications and is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors appointed by the Cabinet. The day-to-day operations are managed by a Director and staff of 60.
Marshall Islands Shipping Corporation
The Marshall Islands Shipping Corporation manages the government ships, which are used for moving people and freight, including copra, around the islands. The Shipping office is on the road leading to Uliga Dock, MISCO also operate and coordinate Uliga Dock.

Discharge Rates and Terminal Handling Charges
Loading and unloading rates are included in the cost of shipping. Rates vary dependent on the goods to be carried and the destination of the goods. Rates for goods can be obtained by contacting Ted Kiluwe at tjkiluwe@icloud.com
