Port Overview:
The Port of Beira is the second largest port in Moçambique and is located about 1,200 kms north of Maputo, midway along the Moçambique coast at the mouth of the Pungue River and is 20 km from the open sea
Please note: In July 2010 a 12 month dredging operation commenced which will increase the draft to a maximum of 14 m which will then allow for vessel arrival and departure, 24-hours a day which will greatly increase the port performance
