2.1.3.7 Philippines - Mindanao Port of Pagadian
Home

Port Overview

The port of Pagadian is served by shipping lines operating for both passenger and cargo vessels. Ports of call include Zamboanga City, Jolo, Siasi, Bongao, Sitangkai and Cotabato City. It is under the administration of TMO Zamboanga del Sur with direct supervision from PMO Zamboanga.

Cargo vessel traffic has dropped significantly as new concrete roads from Pagadian City to Zamboanga City, Davao City, Cagayan de Oro City were built or rehabilitated.  Buses also added units to their fleet to serve commuters.

Fishing vessels now use the port to unload their catch of the day. Aleson Shipping operates passenger and cargo vessels bound for Zamboanga but since the road was rehabilitated, Aleson Shipping concentrated on their route from Zamboanga to Isabela, Basilan.
