Gunungsitoli port is a multi-purpose port that functions as cargo terminal as well as passenger terminal.

Hinterland Information
The island produces various commodities including rubber, coconuts and patchouli oil. One of its beaches called ‘Lagundri’ is the most popular tourism destination of Nias. The beach is known as well-suited for water sports, particularly surfing.
