Xiengkhouang National Airport (IATA: XKH, ICAO: VLXK) is located in Phonsavanan village of Pek district, a capital city of Xieng Khouang province in the North of Laos. The airport has an asphalt-paved runway with 2,600 m in length and 38 m in width.
It is the main access gateway for tourists visiting the nearby Plain of Jars. There are 2 domestic carriers, Lao Airlines and Lao Skyway operating air traffic from and to Wattay International Airport. The airport is open from 08:00 am to 18:00 pm.
