Port Overview

Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport is one of Indonesia's main tourist gateways. It is served by the national flag carrier, Garuda Indonesia, on its international and domestic routes as well as by 12 international airlines on scheduled daily services and charter operators during the tourist holiday seasons. It is located 13 km south of Denpasar and 2.5 km from Kuta Beach Resort. This is Indonesia's third-busiest international airport.

The airport has four domestic air bridge/ gates and 14 International air bridges/gates. Aircraft that are not positioned at the terminal will be accommodated on the apron with 53 aircraft bays. Passengers are conveyed to and from the aircraft by air-bridge or bus.

The airport is currently undergoing extensive expansion in regard to the passenger arrival and departure facilities. The international terminal facilities will be increasing to 120,000m2 whilst the domestic terminal will increase to 65,800m2. The new terminals will be able to support up to 17 million passengers per annum by 2020.
