Airport Overview
The San Cristobal Airport is an airport located west of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, San Cristobal in the archipelago of the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador. Some of the main services of the airport are: x-ray control to avoid the traffic of endemic species, the Biosecurity and Quarantine Agency, a medical service, Migration, Catering, Agrocalidad, and fast-tracked security clearance. In case of any emergency the fire station and ambulances have a prompt response. San Cristóbal Airport is only operational during daylight hours.
Covid 19: To travel to the islands, the passenger must present the negative result of a PCR test, taken within 96 hours prior to entering the islands, accompanied by a safe-conduct issued by the tour operator or hotel in Galapagos.
