All foods are available in Palestine and Israel.  While in the Gaza Strip some of the food items are scarcer; availability varies according to closure policies.  Gaza food prices fluctuate according to supply.  In the West Bank most foods types are available in major cities (imported through Israel or produced locally) however rural areas have limited choice of goods.  West Bank prices tend to follow Israeli trends with additional expense for transportation adding an extra cost to imported goods.  Locally produced goods in the West Bank and Gaza Strip (vegetables) tend to be cheaper than in Israel.  Imported fruit from Israel to the West Bank and Gaza Strip tend to be lower quality (surplus) goods.
