Airport Overview
Phaplu Airport is an airport located in the village of Phaplu in Solu Dudhkunda municipality, Solukhumbu District of Province No 1. It is within the premise of District HQ. It is one of the four airports in Solukhumbu district (Tenzing-Hillary, Kangle Danda, Syangboche). The airport runway was blacktopped in 2013. In 2019 it had 2,749 air movements, 10,278 passengers and 944,736 Kg cargo.
