Description and Contacts of Key Companies

Zambian Airports Corporation Limited (ZACL) governs all four international airports in Zambia. ZACL is the governing corporation within the Ministry of Transport and Communications.  The airport uses a group of cargo handling companies in order to move cargo and baggage from aircraft to bonded areas and baggage carousels.  There is a single runway that is operational.  A new terminal building and facilities are under construction on the same premises and is expected to open in 2019.
