In its areas of greater economic importance and strategic location, the Dominican Republic has adequate OAS certified port infrastructures, with the capacity to receive Post Panamax II ships, with a capacity for 8,500 TEU'S, which makes it easier for cargo from Europe, Asia, etc. to be unloaded at the ports.
