There are ample space and storage options available in Makassar.  In addition, in the advent of an emergency BPBD has indicated that land would also be made available to support any logistics response.

Commercial Storage

There are two main industrial parks in Makassar that offer storage for rental. PT. Kima is the state owned enterprise. They primarily build warehouses to meet customer requirements and there is an 80 year lease requirement for any rental. There may be options for smaller leases, however they are extremely rare (at the time of the assessment there was one warehouse available on a 17 year lease).
The other option is the Natura Industrial estate. This industrial park has pre-built warehouses available for rental. There is also a vast amount of land available in this area which may be useful if MSU parks were to be established.
Both industrial areas are in the same location and offer good links to the toll roads and airport in Makassar.

Commercially available cold chain facilities are limited.  However the Dinas Kesehatan (Health Department) does have cold chain that is used for vaccines and medicines.
