Airport Overview
Ihosy airport is a public restricted airport under the supervision of the SEEM (Société d’Electrictité et d’Electronique Malagasy). There are no regular flights, but it is possible to travel by private plane. There is one staff working there all year long. No AFIS support; landing has to be done visually. In 2021, 10 planes landed with MAF, Aéromarine, TOA and Heli Mission companies. The biggest aircraft authorised is the CESSNA 208 (4t max)
