Airport Overview
Farafangana airport is a public restricted airport under the supervision of the SEEM (Societé Electricité Electronique Malagasy), a private company. There are no regular flights, but possibility of landing private planes. The airport is open 7/7 from 7am to 5pm and 4 staffs are working. Landing has to be done visually and AFIS service is not available. There is around 2 to 3 flight per week (15 flights in 2021) with companies such as MAF, Aeromarine, MTA, and TOA. Biggest aircraft authorized is the BEECH 200 (6t max).
