Keng Tung Airport is located in Kengtung, a town in eastern Shan State. Condition of the runway is good. There are three airlines; Myanmar National Airlines, Air KBZ and Air Thanlwin operates in the Keng Tung airport. There are no international airlines since this is a regional airport. air ambulance medical flight is also not available. There are regular flights taking place three times per day. The routes of the flight run from Kengtung to Yangon, Mandalay, and Heho. Since there is no fuel service at this airport, airplanes refuel at transit airport (e.g. Heho) or carry extra fuel for return journey. There is no designated helipad in place.
