The standard radio system used for the UN community is UHF Radios provided by a local provider in Egypt and managed by UNDSS. UNDP does not control its frequencies, or program radios. This is all done by the service provider. The Interagency ICT working group is currently reviewing this setup and recommendations are being prepared.
