Airport Overview
Moramanga airport is a private airport under Ambatovy’s management, but they agree to allow humanitarian community using it on demand.
Airport is open from 5 am to 5 pm 7/7, airstrip is weed regularly and well tagged. A small office has been installed and 6 staffs are working there permanently including a 24/24 watchmen service. There are around 10 flights per week with a daily regular flight from Ambatovy connecting Antananarivo/Moramanga/Tamatave.
As a private airport, they are not allowed to charge for services, so has to be a common fair agreement. Please for more information, contact the person in charge directly (contact below).
