Damietta Port geographical position:

• Damietta port is located 10 km to the west of the Nile River (Damietta Branch), 70 km to the west of port said and 200 km from Alexandria Port. 
• Total port area: 11.8 million m² 
• Water area: 3.9 million m², will be increased to 4.3 million m² 
• Land area: about 7.9 million m^2, will be increased to 8.6 million m² 
• Water area to total port area is 1:3
